The internet book company The Book Depository has an annual bookmark design competition. If you have bought books from them you will know that they come with interesting bookmarks. Some are handy bits of information (I’ve  got ones showing the Periodic Table and  the Chinese zodiac), others are little works of art. This was my entry:

Adelaide City Council’s Splash Adelaide has been putting on Summer Fridays in the East End – food, music, entertainment, stalls – and street art. Last Friday the street art was me painting the scene.

At either end of the event are archways, relics of the old East End Markets – fortunately for my painting.
