I was already familiar with your work through the Tobacco and Mental Illness project, working with Maxie Ashton. At present I’m working with a tobacco project as part of the Closing the Gap Commonwealth program, and we require a series of illustrations to accompany this. Firstly, are you available, and if so, have you completed any work for an Aboriginal program that you could show us?

Simon did FANTASTIC work for us on Aboriginal incontinence and aged care – a comic which captured Aboriginal sense of humour and handled this very delicate topic perfectly. He worked closely with Aboriginal artist and Health Worker Esther Quintal of Port hedland WA
Hi Simon
I noticed an article which mentioned a book which has just come out Family Conference: Justice for Young Offenders in South Australia. Whereabouts is this available please?

Hello Simon,
Our church community is raising funds for the Syrian refugees by holding a concert. Would you grant us permission to use your powerful cartoon (Where are you from? Earth; – refugees in a boat) in the programme for the concert?
Thanks
Hi, I am Aaloka Kanhere from Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education(www.hbcse.tifr.res.in), India. I came across your illustration of the bridges of Konisberg while developing an investigative activity for children around the Konisberg Bridge Problem. I was wondering if we can use your illustration with all due references. This activity would be used for absolutely non-profit purposes and would be used with atleast 100-150 students from various part of India. The worksheet would also be put on the project website. Can you kindly give me permission to use this illustration?
Hi Aaloka Kanhere,
Certainly, I am pleased to give permission for you to use the illustration for your educational activity. I hope it goes well. Best wishes,
Simon
